I had gone to Thailand, in part, to learn a bit more about Buddhism. So I visited as many of the temples in the area as I could. Let’s start with one of the most famous ones, Wat Pho (Reclining Buddha) is also called Wat Chetuphon.
The temple that I enjoyed the most, was the least flashy. Loha Prasat resembled a meditation hall more than a temple.
And lastly, here are a few pictures of Wat Arun. When I was there it was under renovation. I didn’t take too many pictures, but I did visit as this is the closest of the great temples to the Grand Palace.
I also visited the Giant Buddha temple in Phuket and dozens of temples at Angkor Wat. Pictures of those temples are located in other galleries.
